PETERSON, Leslie
, was b. in Waterloo County, in 1877. He came to Peel in 1903, after being for
some time in the North-West, and rented the 400 acres, lots 3 and 4, con. 4,
from Samuel Ernst, and in 1905 he became the owner of the farm. He carried on
mixed farming, and is the largest feeder of cattle for export in the
neighborhood, and possibly in the county. He is a progressive and up-to-date
farmer; a Presbyterian, and a Liberal, and is highly respected. He m. Fannie
Briston.
