PALFRAMAN, William , was b. Hambleton, Yorkshire, Eng., 1839. He m. Mary E. Lelew, and in 1863 they went to South Africa, where they remained six years. He had a contract with the British Govt. to supply the Army with meat, forage, etc. Two sons, Walter L, and Seymour, were born to them at Petermaritzburg. In 1870 they returned to England, where their two daughters Mrs. Frank Daniels, Guelph City, and Mrs. W. N. O'Neill, Pt. Huron, were born. In 1885 the family came to Canada and settled in Erin, and sometime after removed to Guelph Tp., and later to Guelph City, where they still reside.

Walter L. m. Elizabeth Burt, and set. at Mt. Bridges, Ont. He is a graduate of McMaster University, and is a Baptist minister. Issue: Estella and Lelow C.

Seymour was a clerk in the Manchester office of the London and N. W. Ry. For 4 years, and during the last two years was promoted to chief clerk. He owns 100 acres of land in Eramosa, lot 21, con. 6, where he resides. He m. 1st. Carrie Howes. Issue: William J. He afterwards m. Annie Mealey. Issue: Joseph M.
