MAY, Isaac
, of Peel, was b, in Carleton Co., Ont. in 1843. He came to Peel in 1884, and
purchased 100 acres, on lot 9, con. 6, which he has improved and since resided
upon. He is active in church matters, and has been a Steward in the Methodist
church for twenty years. He is a local preacher, and often conducts the
services in his church, in the absence of the pastor. He is a successful
farmer, and a Conservative in politics. In 1872 he m. Elizabeth Elliott. Issue:
Mrs. Alex. Watson, Peel; and Elliot, at home.
