MARTIN, Moses
, was b. Waterloo Co., 1856 and came to Peel in
1899. He purchased 100 acres of lot 16, con. 3, making a fine farm of 300
acres, where he is engaged in mixed farming, and the feeding of cattle for
the market. Mr. Martin is a strong vigorous man, of a retiring disposition,
highly respected, and takes great interest in the development of the
township. He was a School Trustee in Waterloo Co. In religion he is a
Mennonite, and politically a Liberal He m. Mary Bowman. Issue: Israel, m.
Lydia A. Martin, set. in Peel, they have two children: Noah, Amos, Josiah,
Alvin, Mrs. Solomon Martin and Mary E.
