HULBERT, Andrew
, was b. in Toronto in 1837. He came to Eramosa in 1857. His father was an
English soldier, and his mother was from Ireland. He had to make his own way in
the world, and has farmed most of his life, but is now living in Guelph.
He is a Methodist and a Liberal. He m. Donna Belle McKersie, dau. of David McKersie. Of his sons, David Thomas is in Hamilton; William Henry was b. in Eramosa in 1874, on his mother's homestead. He started without means, and has become a successful farmer In 1900 he m. Miss Emily Selina McGladdery of Eramosa. Issue: William Ira, and Elmer Lloyd.
