HART, William , was b. Tyrone, Ire., in 1830. He came to Canada with his parents at the age of 12, and worked out for nine years, in Vaughan Tp. After his marriage he rented for some time. Then being attracted by the cheap lands in the "Queen's Bush," in 1876, he located in and cleared the present homestead of 100 acres, lot 3, con. 3, West Luther. He has been School Trustee for years, and is a Presbyterian and a Conservative. He has been very successful, and is a much respected man. In 1864 he m. Isabella , oldest dau. of the late Andrew Cunningham, of Vaughan Tp. Issue: Thomas J., Toronto; Mrs. Benson Foster, Luther; Andrew, Luther; Mrs. Lochie McTavish, Melancthon Tp,; Mrs. Wm. Landgon, Arthur Tp; Mrs. Wm. Johnston, Luther; W. R. and John at home.

Andrew lives upon and owns lot 2, con. 4, Luther where hie carried on mixed farming He is a Presbyterian and a Conservative. In 1905 he m. Carrie Langdon.
