FRASER, Hugh , was b. Bannockburn, Scot., 1847. He came to Canada in 1854 with his parents and set. in Arthur Village. He learned the trade of framer which he followed for some years, after which he purchased his present home of 50 acres, lot 28, O.S.R., of which four acres were cleared. For some years he has had the contract for carrying the mail between Petherton and Kenilworth. He is a much respected citizen, a Presbyterian and a Liberal. In 1871 he m. Bertha Connell, who d. in 1892, age 42. Issue: James (d. 28) ; Mrs. Richard Henderson, Toronto; Mrs. W. Moth, Toronto; Hattie (d. 12) ; Bertha and Leslie, at home, and Mary (d. 14).
