CRICHTON, David . Late of Peel, was b. in Scot. in 1824, and d. in 1893, at the age of 69. He came to Canada in 1834, settling first in Eramosa, and later in Peel. He was a Presbyterian, and a Liberal. He m. Ellen Skerritt. Issue: David

David, b. near Guelph, in 1849; lived in Peel Tp. for some time, and moved to Preston, Grey Co. In 1900 he returned to Wellington County and bought 160 acres, lots 9 and 10, of the 16th con., Nichol, where he followed mixed farming, and fed cattle for market. He was a Presbyterian, and a Liberal; a very popular and a prosperous man, of somewhat retiring disposition. He d. in Nov., 1905. He m. Theresa Biltorp. Issue: Maria, Jessie, David.
