CREELMAN, G. C., B.S.A., M.S. , Professor Creelman is a son of James R. Creelman (d.), and Isabella Creelman, and was b. and raised in Simcoe County, on a farm near Collingwood. He was educated at Collingwood Collegiate, and at the Ontario Agricultural College, where he received the degree of B.S.A. He then took a course in science at Cornell University, and received the degree of M.S. at the State Agricultural College, Mississippi, where he was afterwards Professor of Biology from 1888 to 1897. He was appointed Supt. of Farmers' Institutes in 1898, and served until 1904, also being Supt. of Agricultural Societies, and Secretary of the Ontario Fruit Growers' Association. In Feb., 1904, he succeeded Dr. Mills as President of the O.A.C.
