CRAIG, Hugh
. b. Toronto, Gore, 1846. He came to Arthur Tp. with his father, who was a
large land owner. His father gave him lot 19, con. 11, where he has since
resided. He carries on mixed farming successfully and has raised a large family
and has educated them well. He is a member of the English church, and a
Conservative. In 1867 he m. Elizabeth Rothwell of Mount Forest. Issue:
John, Horning Mills; Samuel H., Matthew, in Algoma; Amrose, at home; Mrs. Isaac
Curr, Mary, at home, and Mrs. Henry Cole, Maryborough.
