ALLENDORF, Peter (deceased), b. in Germany, 1832, d. 1902. He come to Canada in 1854, and set. in Waterloo Co., and in 1865 came to Maryborough, where he lived until his death. He started in life without means, and by is own exertions accumulated a fine property, besides raising and educating his family, leaving at the time of his death three hundred acres of land and other property. He m. Anna C. Senner, who d. in 1895, age 61 years. They were members of the Evangelical church, and very active in church matters, he being Secy. of the church for years. The family have always been highly respected in the community, and few men were more esteemed or more successful than the subject of this sketch. They had the following issue: John Menno (d.), Harry, in Iowa; Mrs. Daniel Stricker, William, Mrs. Fred Schrader, George and Ezra.

John m. Lena Schrader. Issue: Henry E. He owns the old homestead, and is a successful farmer.

William resides in Minneapolis.

George, unm., owns a farm on con. 9, but lives with his brother.

Ezra is General Manager and Vice-President of the Equity Realty Co., of New York City, where he resides.
