Stormont
County is a historic county in the province of Ontario. The townships
within the county were: Cornwall, Finch, Osnabruck and Roxborough. In
1850, Stormont County merged with Dundas and Glengarry Counties to form
the United Counties of
Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

| The upper store, presided over by Mr. Irwin has adopted a "cash
and carry system" which has been a marked success. An efficient staff of clerks in both stores has had not a little to do with the thousands of pleased customers whom they serve. Both Mr. Dunkin and Mr. Irwin have adopted the slogan of "Cleanliness and Service" in carrying on their large business. Candies and cigars are a side line which has attracted much of the particular trade to Dunkin's & Irwins. |
