Information for Visitors
Getting Around
The city of Stratford has a public transit bus system. As for the other towns (St Marys, Listowel, Mitchell, etc), they do not. Plan accordingly, if you do not have a car.
Places to Visit
The one place you should plan to visit is the main branch of the Stratford-Perth Archives.
$ They do have a user fee for visitors. The branch OGS library is also in this building.
The archives is located right downtown so you can do some window shopping or go walk by the Avon River.
Perth County Links and other information
The most important attraction in Stratford is the Stratford Festival, which is a series of plays - different plays every year. Many of the plays are Shakespeare's, but they try to offer a variety. The festival usually begins in June and runs through to the fall, but is not on in the winter. Home page of the Stratford Festival
