BAILEY--Allen
Hello my Love!
May 15 marks the first year of my life without you. I miss your smile, the twinkle in your blues eyes, your laughter, your sense of humour, the sound of your voice. I especially miss your hugs. Memories of our time together are embedded in my heart. Never forget how much you are loved and missed. There is a place within my heart that only you could own. It breaks my heart to remember you sitting in your chair in a deep sleep from the medication that had the power to take your pain away, not knowing that very soon you would no longer be with us. When I look at your picture it is gratifying to know that you are pain-free: past the caves and past the pain, far past my earthly bonds. Since youve been gone I have learned that my journey through grief is an ongoing process, a loss I will never get over and in time with the Lords help, I will need to rebuild my life. The greatest decision that you could ever make on that sunny afternoon of April 22 makes me overjoyed to know that when it is my turn to leave this life that we will be reunited in Heaven forevermore.
All my love, Lyn.

BAILEY, Allen--My Love, I miss you so much. Gone beyond my touch for two years on May 15.
Time flies by so swiftly
But our memories still last.
My missing you and the grieving
Have never really passed.
You are always just a thought away
In a place, a thing or a face.
You are embedded in my heart
And mind, so deep time cannot erase.
Until we are reunited
In God's loving embrace,
I will have to be content
With a picture, a thought, a place.
My journey remains very lonely without you.
All my love, Lyn.
Manitoulin Expositor, May 11, 2011

Allen,
Many thought I give to you
As the lonely days go by,
Thinking of the things we said
And did, just you and I.
Sometimes they make me smile
Lots of times I cry
But each one is so precious
This was you and I.
Oh how I miss the comfort of your arms!
Loving you always, Lyn.

BAILEYIn loving memory of our dear daughter, Connie Lyn, who passed away suddenly on November 18, 1967, in her second year.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls one by one
The chain will link again.

In Memoriam
BAILEY-In loving memory of Ernest Bailey, Burpee, called away May 17th, 1927, age 15 years, accidentally shot while driving an owl from the fowl yard.
Deep in our hearts there lies a picture
Of a loved one laid to rest,
In memories frame we keep it
Because he was one of the best.
Our lips cannot speak how we loved him,
Our hearts cannot tell what to say,
God only knows how we miss him
In a home that is lonely to-day.
It is lonesome without our dear brother and sad and weary the way,
For life is not the same since he was called away;
However long my life may claim, what land I see;
Whatever grief by mine, I will think of thee.
Though his loving voice be silent,
And now has ceased to beat;
We miss his well-known footsteps
And the smiling face we used to greet.
He was a loving brother kind and true,
We cannot clasp his hand as we used to do,
The face we cannot see, but let this token tell,
What we cannot forgot our Pal.
The Recorder, Gore Bay, May 23, 1929

In loving memory of my daughter, Etta Harper, wife of D.O. BAILEY who died of flue on Nov. 25, 1919.
It was hard not to be there at the hour of death,
To have caught the sigh of her parting breath.
One last fond word I might have heard,
And breathed in her ear one parting word.
You are not forgotten Etta Dear,
Nor will you ever be.
As long as life and memory lasts
We will remember thee.
Mother and Sister Ida

BAILEY--In memory of a loving husband and a devoted father, Glendon Grant Bailey, March 15, 1939 - October 8, 2005.
We do not need a special day
To bring you to our mind
A day we do not think of you
Is very hard to find.
They say time heals all sorrow,
And helps us to forget
But time, so far, has only shown
How much we miss you yet.
If love could build a stairway
And heartaches make a lane,
We would walk up to heaven
And bring you home again.
Forever loved and missed, your wife Betty Jean and your daughter Valerie.

In loving memory of a dear husband, LLOYD BAILEY who passed away April 6, 1997.
Morning dawns, night returns,
And still I think of you.
Those left behind are very good,
But none replaces you.
Many a silent tear is shed
When I am all alone.
The one I loved so very much,
The one I called my own.
You were a loving husband,
a pal so good and true,
A better husband never lived.
I miss you, yes I do.

BATES--In loving memory of, Chester John, a dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who passed away 6 years ago, September 13, 1995.
God looked around His garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon His earth
And saw your loving face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
His garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering.
He knew you were in pain,
And knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

Although we smile and make no fuss
No one misses you more than us.
And when old times we oft recall
Its then we miss you most of all.
We cannot bring the old days back
When we were all together,
But secret tears and loving thoughts
Will live with us forever.
We think of you in silence,
Your name we oft recall,
There is nothing left to answer
But your picture on the wall.
Love, the Bates Family.

Her heart, the truest in all the world
Her love, the best to recall.

She is still the dearest of all.
Lovingly remembered by Ruth, John, and Wilhelimine.

God knew that she was suffering
The hills were hard to climb,

Some day, we know not when,
We will meet our loved one there.

BAYER-In loving memory of a dear father and grandfather, George August Bayer who passed away November 10, 1968.
It seems so strange that those we need
And those we love the best
Are just the ones God calls away
And takes them home to rest.
But every time we think of him
We seem to gear God say,
Have faith and trust my promise
We will meet again some day.
So while he sleeps a peaceful sleep
His memory we will always keep.

BAYER--In fondest memory of a dear brother Ralph who passed away March 12, 1988.
God gave us a special brother
His memory will never grow old
For he fashioned his smile out of sunshine
And molded his heart of pure gold.
God needed a new star in heaven
A beautiful light to shine
So out of this world of sorrow
He chose that brother of mine.
Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by sister Kathleen, brother-in-law Glen and family.
