ABBOTT--In loving memory of Audrey Jean Ethel Abbott, Tuesday, December 23, 2008.
Down a road that's calm and peaceful
Guided by God's loving hand
She has gone upon a journey
To a distant, brighter land.
And although our hearts are heavy
With sorrow we still bear
It helps to bring us comfort
Knowing she is happy there.
Fondly missed by loving husband Don, daughters Sandra (husband Dave) and Janice (husband John), son Paul plus many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Manitoulin Expositor, December 22, 2009

ABBOTT--In loving memory of a dear mother and wife, Audrey Abbott, who passed away December 23, 2008.
Two dear bright eyes, a tender smile,
A loving heart that knew no guile,
Deep trust in God that all was right,
Her joy to make some other bright.
If sick or suffering one she knew,
Some gentle act of love she'd do,
No thought of self, but of "the other"
I know that He said "Well done dear Mother."
Lovingly remembered by family and friends.

ABOTOSSAWAY--In memory of Clayton Abotossaway. For those I have left behind
I have not gone far, I still see
Those tears you shed are for me.
I am not unhappy, I am not sad,
I just thank God for all we had.
I did not choose to go away,
But God told me I couldn't stay.
He reached for me with loving care
Come with me child, if you dare.
Reach out your arms to those below
Blow them a kiss so they will know.
Let the breeze of your kiss pass across their brow,
Let them know you are safe and happy now.
Now dry your eyes and remember me
For where I am was meant to be.
To you that I have left behind
The love we've shared will always bind.
If a breeze should pass across your brow
Remember from where it came, and how.
Until we meet again one day
I've not gone far, I am just away.
Forever missed, Terry, Glenda and family.

ABOTOSSAWAY--In loving memory of our daughter Glenda. A year ago on October 1st
God saw you were getting tired
When a cure was not to be.
So He closed His arms around you
And whispered, "Come to Me."
Your golden heart stopped beating,
Your gentle hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
In tears, we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away.
Our hearts were almost broken,
You fought so hard to stay.
What you suffered, you told few
You didn't deserve what you went through.
Tired and helpless, you made no fuss,
And tried so hard to stay with us.
But when we saw you sleeping,
So peaceful, free from pain,
We could not wish you back to suffer again.
With love...Mom and Dad.
Manitoulin Expositor, September 29, 2010

ABOTOSSAWAY--In memory of our papa Greg Abotossaway, November 22, 2007.
We know you liked to hunt Papa
We have got to see the pictures everyday
You shot a few nice bucks and moose, and told us lots of stories too!
We never understood all of your stories
But our dad, your son, does as we are still too young
But someday we will and we will use that knowledge too.
Moose Camp was sad this year, Papa, without you and we miss you lots
But we knew you were there with us
And especially when dad got his moose
Just like last year when you were with us.
We thought of you the whole time Papa
And all the good times you must have had.
Our dad said he will take up to the spot Papa
Where you got your last big buck
The day before you left us.
And we know, Papa, that you will always be looking down on us and guarding us,
You are now our Guardian Angel.
You will be missed always.
Love Hunter and Carter Abotossaway (Jason and Natasha).

One year has passed since that sad day,
When one we loved was called away
God took her home-it was His will,

So dear God will you take a message,
To our Grandma in Heaven above,
And tell her how much we both miss her,
And please give her all our love.

AELICK--In loving memory of Berton (Bert) who passed away May 1, 2007.
Forget unkind words I have spoken;
remember some good I have done.
Forget that I ever had heartache
and remember I've had loads of fun.
Forget that I've stumbled and blundered
and sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought some hard battles
And won, ere the close of the day.
Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day,
Come the shade of evening when the sun
paints the sky, sit for a moment,
I'll be by your side.
Sadly missed and always remembered;
Mona, Jackie and Tom, Melissa, Michelle and Cory, Mike and Kim, Thomas and Tanya, Bill.

AELICKIn loving memory of Bert Aelick who passed away May 1, 2007.
The moment that you died,
Our hearts split in two,
The one side filled with memories,
The other died with you.
We often lay awake at night,
When the world is fast asleep,
And take a walk down memory lane,
With tears upon our cheeks.
Remembering you is easy,
We do it every day,
But missing you is a heartache,
That never goes away.
We hold you tightly within our hearts,
And there you will remain,
Life has gone on without you,
But it never will be the same.

If I could write a story
It would be the greatest ever told
Of a kind and loving father

Much I love and miss him
Every single day
I will remember all he taught me
Im hurt but wont be sad
coz hell send me down the answers
And hell always be my Dad.
We miss you dearly Dad.

AELICK--In memory of Rodney (Dick) Aelick.
The past year has been difficult
Since our beloved husband, father and Papa,
Rodney (Dick) Aelick
Went to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
The lessons he taught us
Have helped to guide us
And the precious memories
Have comforted us.

We are thankful that the end of his journey on earth
Was only the beginning of an eternity of joy.

of his faith - his Bible.

AIABENS--In loving memory of our dad Gabriel Aiabens, who died 32 years ago on February 6.
A million times we've needed you
A million times we've cried,
If love could have saved you
You never would have died.
Things we feel most deeply
Are the hardest things to say,
My dearest one, we loved you,
In a very special way.
If we could have one lifetime wish

We'd pray to God with all our heart
For yesterday and you.

'There is joy beyond all dreaming, there is love beyond compare,
There is love beyond all knowing...and the one you love is there.

AIABENS--In loving memory of a dear brother, Robert, it's been five years July 19, 1997.

It brings back a day we will never forget.
He went away without saying good-bye
But our memories of him will never die.
No one knows the grief we bear
When the family meets and he's not there.
The tears we shed will wipe away.
But the ache in our hearts will always stay.

But he left us with memories.
We are proud to own

And your work on earth was done.

When the Master calls us to come.

ALSTONIn loving memory of Darrell, who passed away one year ago October 3, 2010.
They say memories are golden
Well, maybe that is true
I never wanted memories
I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still;
In my heart you hold a place
No one can ever fill.
But now I know you want me
To mourn for you no more
To remember the happy times
Life still has in store.
Since youll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where youll always stay
If tears could build a stairway
And heartache make a lane
Id walk the path to heaven
And bring you back again
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.
Miss and love you Hun.
Always remembered by wife Rosemarie and sons Trevor and Kristopher.

So I could hear your voice again

And every day before that too
I think of you in silence
And often speak your name
All I have now are memories
And your picture in a frame.

ALSTON--In loving memory of a dear father and grandfather Ken, who passed away on February 14, 1994.
There is a bridge of memories
From here to heaven above
That keeps you very close to us
Its called a bridge of love
As time goes on without you and days turn into years,
They hold a million memories
And a thousand silent tears.
To us you were very special
What more is there to say,
Except to wish with all our hearts,
That you were here today.
--Remembered by Craig, Kelly, Katrina, Jordan and Bradley.

ALSTON-In loving memory of a dear father, Ken (doc) who passed away February 14, 1994.
I watched you suffer,
Heard you sigh,
And all I could do
Was stand by.
But when the time came,
I suffered too.
You never deserved
What you went through.
God took your hand
We had to part.
He eased your pain
But broke my heart.
Although I smile,
And seem carefree
No one misses you
More than me.
--Sadly missed and always remembered by Craig, Kelly, Katrina, Jordan and Bradley.

ALSTON--In loving memory of Ken (Doc) Alston who passed away February 14, 1994.
There's someone who misses you sadly,
In the house where you used to be,
But God willed it not to be,
You left us some beautiful memories.
And sorrow too great to be told.
But to us who loved with you and lost you
Your memory will never grow old.
Lovingly remembered by Craig, Kelly, Katrina, Jordan and Bradley.

AMBROSE--In loving memory of Harry R. Ambrose, April 25, 1943 - March 10, 2008.
A year has come and gone
Love loss - at times difficult to endure
I ask the Creator - Why?, Why?...
But we know the answer.
The memories of the years we had together,
The love that we shared for each other,
The laughter, companionship, the love of music,
Has given me comfort and strength,
As I continue on with each new day.
Gone but not forgotten
Your spirit will always be with me
Forever in my heart.
Loving you and missing you, Gladys.
