| Hood: Although the name Hood does not appear on the map in the Historical Atlas for Lanark County, there is a church and another building at the site. |
| McDonalds Corners: Located on the Mississippi River. Named after John & Rober McDonald. By 1857 a Free Church was built with Rev. James Geggie as Minister. It appears in the Historical Atlas for Lanark County and Hugh McLean was the first postmaster. |
| Poland: First settler arrived in 1821. Poland PO is showing on the Historical Atlas for Lanark County along with a church. |
| Watsons Corners: Watson Corners PO appears on the Historical Atlas for Lanark County. The first to arrive were Lanark Society settlers in 1820. It was formerly known as Granny Comming's Corners. In 1829 St. Andrew's Hall was erected and housed a library and served as a church and a meeting hall. |
