Douglas – Ethel Eleanor – In hospital at
Carleton Place, Ont., on Monday, May 31, 1976, Ethel Eleanor Douglas, in her 96th
year, daughter of the late Richard Douglas and Elizabeth Dowdall; dear sister of
Melville, of Carleton Place; predeceased by 4 brothers and 7 sisters.
Resting at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, McArthur Ave, Carleton Place
until Thursday at 1:30 pm thence to St. John’s Church, Innisville, for service
at 2 pm. Interment St. John’s
Cemetery.
Manson – John Earl – Entered into rest at the
Almonte and District Hospital on Monday, May 31, 1976, John Earl Manson in his
80th year, beloved husband of Agnes McKay, dear father of Kenneth and
Herman of Middleville; Ileen (Mrs. Donald Foster) of Lanark and Murray of
Vancouver, B.C. Resting at the
Young Funeral Home, Lanark. Funeral
Service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 2 at 2 pm.
Mr. Donald Kirkland officiating. Interment
Greenwood Cemetery, Middleville. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart Fund would be
appreciated.
Shields – Roy – In hospital, on Sunday, May 30, 1976, Roy Livingston Shields, beloved husband of Helen Edward and dear brother of Mrs. Mary Porteous of Toronto and Bert Shields of San Diego, Calif. Resting at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls. Funeral Service in the chapel Wednesday, June 2, at 2 pm. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery.
