Elsewhere in the newspaper:  Ferguson’s Falls:  Matrimonial:  On Wednesday, 28th April, one of the young ladies of this place, Miss Teresa Hollinger, well known as a successful teacher, and one who is a general favorite with all who have made her acquaintance, was united in marriage to a respectable young man from the Township of Huntley.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. Chisholm with all the solemnity of the ritual proscribed by the Catholic Church.  Miss Chisholm, well known to your readers as an accomplished musician, played most exquisitely on the melodeon during the service.  The bride appeared to be in the bloom of health, beautiful and lovely and happy as a bride could wish to be.  Her lady friends will be pleased to learn that she wore on this occasion a rich lavender silk dress and that a wreath of orange blossoms and a beautiful white veil adorned her head.  She was attended by two bridesmaids:  her sister, Miss Julia (Hollinger), and Miss Nagle, the groom’s sister, who were tastefully and elegantly attired in dresses becoming the ceremony.  The groom was attended by his brother and by Mr. P. Hollinger, the bride’s brother.  After the ceremony the happy couple and friends sat to a sumptuous dinner.  A few hours afterwards having been spent in pleasant conversation, the newly married departed to make a short bridal tour before their return home.  The day was beautifully fine, warm and balmy, and if there is any truth in the old saying, “that happy is the bride that the sun shines on”, then we may say that she and her husband will be happy.  That their days may be many and happy is the sincere wish of their friends.
