Roseland (?), tinsmith, formerly of Renfrew, so the little newcomer is the great granddaughter of Mrs. John McDougall and the great-great-granddaughter of Mrs. John McInnes, Renfrew, who is a fresh and healthy looking lady of 88 (?) years who can see to read and sew without spectacles, has no gray hair on her head and is the mother of eleven children, grandmother of 69 (?) grandchildren, great-grandmother of 103 and great-great-grandmother of one.

Smith, Esq., M.A., of the University of Aberdeen, Classical Master of the Collegiate Institute, Galt, to Mary Elizabeth Stephenson, only daughter of Rev. R.L. Stephenson, M.A., Rector of Perth.

Elsewhere in the same paper:  One of those happy events, which cause a momentary flutter in social circles, took place on Wednesday afternoon at St. James Church, Perth, in the presence of a large number of spectators.  The ceremony, which was to be solemnized, proved to be the marriage of Minnie Stephenson, only daughter of Rev. R. L. Stephenson, M.A., Rector of Perth, to Mr. D.S. Smith, Esq., M.A., late Classical Master in the Perth Collegiate Institute and now of the Galt Institute.  The bridesmaids were Miss Armstrong of Ottawa, cousin of the bride and Miss Flora Henderson of Perth.  Mr. Arthur J. Matheson (?) and Mr. Montague Shaw assisted the bridegroom in the ceremony.  The bride and bridesmaids were dressed in rich and elegant styles and were admired by all the ladies present.  At the conclusion of the ceremony the guests repaired to the Rectory where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was provided.  The happy couple left by the 5:00 train.
