PATERSON, Delmer George Stewart - Following a courageous battle with Lou Gehrig's Disease, peacefully with his family at his side in hospital at Almonte on Thursday, January 15, 1998, Delmer Paterson of Almonte. Age 65 Years. Dearly loved husband of Dorothy Smith. Beloved father of Richard of Cold Lake, Alberta, Alice-Anne (Craig Collinge) of Almonte, James Murray (Andrea) of Okotoks, Alberta, Cheryl (Marc Regimbald) of Almonte, Darlene of Calgary, Julie (Keven Sonnenburg) and Lisa (Clarence Fulton) both of Almonte. Predeceased by his son, Clarke. Dear brother of Mary (Lloyd Connolly) and Marjorie (Gordon Weir) both of Almonte. Son of the late Stewart Paterson and his wife the late Luella Poole. THOMPSON, Clare Douglas - Suddenly in Penticton, B.C., on Friday, January. 2, 1998, Clare Douglas Thompson of R R 3, Renfrew, age 61 years. Doug will be sadly missed by his wife Linda (Rosalyn). Dear father of Kevin (Sharon), Susan (Jim) of Kanata, Michael (Kim) of Nepean, Christopher (Kristen) of Greely, Kelly of Kanata and stepdaughters Karen and Francine (Marc) of Ottawa. Special grandfather to Miranda, Scott, Tarah, Kirk, Caitlin, Kieran, Merighan, Celine, Zachary and Michaela. Predeceased by father, Emerson and mother, Agnes Mary (Mae).
