Christie Biscuits and the C.R. Gamble Funeral Home - Peacefully with his family
at his side on Friday, March 12, 1999. Gordon R. Kilburn of Almonte. Age 80
Years. Dearly loved husband of Lorraine E. McCormick. Beloved father of Reid
(Lynne) of Almonte. Special Grandpa of Derek and Ashley. Predeceased by his
sister Mrs. Jessie Long. Gordie rested in the Chapel he helped to build at the
C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME, 127 Church Street, Almonte for visitation on Sunday.
Funeral Service complete was held Monday at Almonte Presbyterian Church where he
served as Clerk of Session for 33 years. Rev. Lyle Sams officiated. Cremation to

February 25,1999, in his 92nd year. Son of the late William Edward Sutherland
and his wife, the late Edna Travers, of Almonte; loving husband of Frances
Collinson and the late Florence Isabel Britton, cherished father of Dr. Ian
(Helen) of Peterborough, and loving grandfather of Alaeric and Fraser. Survived
by his brother David B. of Ottawa; predeceased by brothers John Travers
(Ottawa), and William James (Almonte). Visitation will be held at the Humphrey
