Judith Ann Kay and Gregory Keith Stanley were married at St. Paul's Anglican Church on June 18th. The couple are residing in Almonte.

White and yellow daisies with pink and blue carnations, decorated St. Paul's Anglican Church in Almonte on Saturday, June 18th, for the marriage of Judith Anna Kay and Gregory Keith Stanley. Rev. Harry Brown performed the double ring ceremony at 3 p.m. Mrs. Harry Brown was the organist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kay of Montreal and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Stanley of Almonte. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a wedding gown of silk polyester chiffon, long full sleeves and scalloped 'V' neckline. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses. Susan Harding, sister of the bride, was maid of honour. She wore a grey street length dress and carried a bouquet of pink and white roses. Kim Corcoran a friend of the bride, and Lisa Stanley sister of the groom were bridesmaids. They wore identical street length dresses of blue sheer, with high necklines, long sleeves and full skirt. Their white picture hats were trimmed with blue ribbon. They carried bouquets of pink, and white roses. The groom was attended by his friend Mike Savard as bestman. The ushers were John McPhail and Mike Thurston also, friends of the grooms. They were all attired in teal blue tuxedos. The mother of the bride wore a floor length pale blue gown with pleated skirt. Her corsage was of pink roses. The groom's mother wore a floor length pink dress with full skirt and long sleeves. Her corsage was of pink and white roses. Following the ceremony, a dinner was held at the Legion followed by a reception at Naismith School. Out-of-town guests attended from Moncton, NB; Ottawa, Montreal, England, Arnprior, and Toronto. Greg and Judy are residing in Almonte.

Drynan - McTiernan

Almonte wedding - The Almonte United Church was the scene of a pretty but informal wedding on Saturday August 8 at 4 o'clock in the afternoon with Rev. Roberts officiating. He joined in marriage Gypsy Yvonne McTiernan and Robert Herbert Clifford Drynan. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, David Turner of Carleton Place. She was attended by Mrs. Elizabeth Gleeson, sister of the groom and Mr. James Gleeson was the best man. The ushers were Stephen McTiernan, son of the bride and Randy Drynan, nephew of the groom. During the signing of the register, Donnie and Linda Lee, sister of the groom, played the guitar and sang three selected songs for the wedding guests. After attending an enjoyable buffet party at Brian and Janet Drynan's the bridal party went to St. Mary's School for their wedding reception where they were greeted by many friends and relatives. Bob and Gypsy flew to Victoria, B.C. and enjoyed a beautiful honeymoon.

The marriage of Janet Elizabeth Seaman of Almonte and Glenn Richard Stanley of Almonte took place at St Mary's church on Saturday, Sept 10. The couple reside in Kanata.
