Obituary Alexander Kedslie of Goderich, at Holstein April 1901The Goderich Star, April 19, 1901KEDSLIE: A former well known resident of Goderich, in the person of Alexander Kedslie, died at Holstein on Monday last and the remains brought to Goderich on Tuesday, and interred in Maitland Cemetery, members of I.O. Foresters being the pallbearers and Rev. Mr. Anderson the officiating clergyman. Deceased, who was a son of the late Francis Kedslie, resided there till about ten years ago, when his family moved to Cleveland, Ohio, but owing to failing health, the deceased finally reached a relative's home, in Holstein, where he died. He was in his 46th year and unmarried.The Huron Signal, April 18, 1901(Donna has copy)DEATH OF ALEXANDER KEDSLIE - A former resident of Goderich, ALEXANDER KEDSLIE, eldest son of the late Francis Kedslie, died on Monday last at Holstein, Grey County. The deceased was forty-five years of age and was unmarried. The remains were conveyed to Goderich by G.T.R., on Tuesday, and the funeral will take place from the home of the deceased's sister, Mrs. John Dunlop, Huron Road, this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
