My grandfather, Oran Westell, was the lightkeeper at the lighthouse on Harbour Street, Kincardine, from about 1925 until 1955, when he died. When my grandmother was left widowed, she had to leave the place in a hurry to make way for the new lightkeeper and because the place belonged to the government. Some things were lost there when she left. Specifically I am searching for boxes of tintypes which my grandfather was reported to have. Any information would be appreciated.
