seach engine updates

We have a large surname/obituary database for Oklahoma County and I continue to add to it daily, weekly, or monthly or as often as possible.
Thanks to the many that transcribed and submitted information, their names are listed on each submission, if requested; if no name is listed as a submitter, I have personally found the information and included it here for everyone's benefit.

Information listed on these pages is submitted by the folks of Oklahoma County mail list and Oklahoma County Researchers. If you're a Oklahoma County researcher & your info is not here, please submit to Marti to be added to this Oklahoma County site.

Beginning August 1, 2012 I will no longer maintain an alpha list - takes way more time that I can use to add more obits. Please use the Site Search to locate your names of interest. The site is updated weekly by the various search engines.

2010 adding more obits and a search page to the site

September 2009 Started photographing Jones IOOF Cemetery this month

March 2009 added links to the cemeteries I worked so hard to gather information.

January 2009 several trips to Elmwood Cemetery this month -lots of photos

December 2008 - given up everything on the site being perfect... the webmaster isn't so I'm uploading

September 2008 I'm final feeling up to updating, reloading the site and hope to add much more information soon..

August 2008 THANK YOU everyone for all your prayers and kind words.

2006 I'm still unable to think and focus enough to work the site.

On July 8, 2005, I suffered a stroke, on my left side. I an still recovering and want all to know how much I appreciate the many cards, prayers and e-mails received. They have surely been working!!

All information submitted via email has been saved and will be added as soon as possible - thank you for you understanding and patience.

I hope you enjoy searching through this web site, as I've spent considerable time on it. If you find other information on the web or elsewhere that might be appropriate for this page, please let me know. I'm am particularly interested in journals or other records of movement into Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.
