TASH Shirley Ann, 59, of Norman, died suddenly Wednesday morning, April 26th, 1995 at the Norman Regional Hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29th at the Mayes Chapel of Remembrance. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery with arrangements by Mayes Funeral Directors. The daughter of Harry and Muriel Russell Jacobson, Shirley was born in Tulsa, Nov. 21, 1935. She was a graduate of Tulsa Webster High School and attended Oklahoma University.

She married James Byron Doner August 23, 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1964. Shirley moved to Norman from Tulsa in 1966 and was an employee of Griffin Memorial Hospital for 18 years, retiring in 1985 as Personnel Director. On April 14, 1970, she married Edward Russell Tash at Wichita Falls, Texas. Shirley was a member of the Church of Christ in Tulsa and had been a member for 19 years both the Moose Lodge and the National Hudson Club for 19 years.

Survivors include her husband, Edward of the home; three sons, Kenneth Earl Donor and his wife Debbie of Newalla, Oklahoma, Byron Karnell Donor and his wife Carol, Kelly Grant Donor and his wife Stella, all of Norman; step-son Steven Wayne Tash and his wife Malinda of Phoenix, Arizona; step-daughter Edwina Gayle Tash of South Carolina; twelve grandchildren; her father, Harry Jacobson of Tulsa, Ok.; her mother Muriel Jacobson of Tulsa, Ok.; and a brother, Kenneth Frank Jacobson of Waggoner, Ok. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cleveland County Unit..
