SWIM IN LAKE KILLS FARMER
pulmotor Fails to Revive Harrah Man After Heart Attack.

Heart disease was given as the cause of death of Louis Kuryanski, 43 years old, a farmer living one mile north of Harrah , when he sank in Horseshoe Lake in an attempt to swim across it with his clothes on.

Although the man vas pronounced dead by C. R. Greiggs, Harrah physician. immediately after he was dragged from the lake by rescuers, a city fire department pulmotor crew was summoned and resuscitation efferts were administered 50 minutes.

When no water was found in Kuryanski's lungs. both Doctor Griggs and firemen said he evidently had died of heart attack. He was in the water more than 30 minutes. The physician said since Kuryanski attempted to swim the lake with his clothes on, he probably over-exerted himself.

Kuryanski Is survived by his wife, one son, and two daughters, all living near Harrah.
