VAL HELBING
Requiem mass for Val Helbing, 77, will be at 8:15 am
Monday in St. Francis Catholic church. Burial is to
be in
Rose Hill cemetery under direction of Smith &
Kernke funeral home.
Helbing, father of Clarence Helbing, 1809 N Villa,
and Mrs. Ray Harrison, 2312 N Douglas, died Monday
in Richland, Wash. Mass had been originally
scheduled for Saturday morning.

MRS. _MAGDALENE _HELBING
Mrs. Magdalene Helbing, 75, former state resident,
died Saturday in a Seattle, Wash.. hospital after a
three-week illness. Services in Oklahoma City will
he announced by Smith and Kernke funeral home.
Mrs. Helbing, mother of Clarence L.
Helbing,
1800 N Villa, manager of Thormpson-Hayward Chemical
Co., moved to Seattle from Tulsa 10 years ago.
Born in Dubuque, Iowa. she lived in Muskogee 14
years where her husband, Val Helbing. was a hardware
merchant. They moved to Tulsa in 1930.
Mr. and Mrs.
Helbing visited Oklahoma City last summer when they
celebrated their golden wedding anniversary here.
Other than her son here, she is survived by her
husband, of the home; a second son. Carl J. v.
Tampa, Fla.; four daughters. Mrs. Ray Harrison, 2312
N Douglas; Mrs. Paul Wainwright, Richland Wash.;
Mrs. H. L. Jones. Tulsa, and Mrs. Pat McCabe,
Maracaibo, Venezuela, and 15 grandchildren.
