Edward Lee Godwin, 64, of Del City, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 1991. He was born Dec. 7, 1927 in McLoud, OK. to Albert & Nellie Godwin. He moved to Del City in 1953. Mr. Godwin was a member of the 40 & 8th in Shawnee, and American Legion Post 244, and the Del City VFW 9969. He retired from Tinker AFB after 35 years service. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a Sgt. Maj.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Becky Earp, Okla. City, Vicki Cramer, Choctaw, & Cheryl Rocha, Midwest City; 3 sons, Steve Godwin, Okla. City, Melvin Godwin, Del City, and Brian Godwin, Okla. City; 10 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Les Godwin, McLoud, Wes Godwin, Shawnee, and Albert Brian Godwin, Jr., Arkansas; mother, Nellie Godwin, Shawnee, Ok. He was preceded in death b y his father; 2 sisters, Mary Lou and June; and a brother, L. Z., and his wife, Darlene.

Services will be Sat. Dec. 28, 1991 at 10:00 A.M. in the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, with burial in Arlington Memory Gardens.
