IDA BELL GENTRY SHAWNEE

Services for Ida Bell Gentry. 97, who died in a local hospital Wednesday, will be here Friday afternoon in Roesch Brothers' chapel.

Born at Springfield, III., Mrs. Gentry moved with her family to Shawnee in 1895. Later she lived briefly near Lexington, returning with her family to Shawnee in 1905. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist church.

Survivors are three sons. J. L. Witt. Shawnee; W. M. Witt and J. W. Witt, both of Fort Worth; two daughters, Mrs. Lily Mae Dickey, Oklahoma City and Mrs. Thelma Gertrude Post, Shawnee; a sister, Mrs. Gennie Parks, Reedsport, Ore. 17 grandchildren. 37 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
