Harry H. Buxton, 53, of 2821 NW 12, died Monday in Veterans hospital. He had been ill for more than a year with lung cancer. Services will be announced by the Street & Draper funeral home.

Buxton was born at Neosho, Mo. He served with the army air corps at Guam during World war II. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Surviving are the wife, Octavia; a brother, Charles of Pleasant Hill, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Kirkland and Mrs. Faye Reid, both of Union Springs, Ala.
