ARTHUR B. BATEY

Services for Arthur B. Batey, 66, of 1132 SE 21, will be 10 am Saturday in Garrison funeral church with burial at Arlington Memorial Park cemetery. Batey, a native Oklahoman and retired city employee, died Wednesday night after an apparent heart attack. He retired from the city sewage treatment plant in August after 15 years' service.

A Baptist, he is survived by his wife, Ruth, of the home, and three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Whitfield, 2725 NW Park; Mrs. Maxine Scott, 2401 SW 50, and Mrs. Sible Trimmer, Toledo, Ohio. Also surviving are six sons, Paul, Lawton; Leonard, Oklahoma City; Eugene, North Carolina; Dwayne SW 65, Wilbur, Altus and John, of the home, a sister and 13 grandchildren.
