Armelda Atkinson, age 81, Midwest City, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2000. She was born On March 19, 1919 in Paragould, AR, to George and Dollie Mae Sims. She is Survived by her 5 children, Armarehte Dykes & husband Bob of Kingsport, TN, A.G. Atkinson & wife Vivian of Natchez, MS, Charles Atkinson & Wife Carlene of Norman, OK. Barbara Shirley & husband C.J. of Ft. Smith, AR, Victor Atkinson and wife Lilian of Midwest City, OK; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Odel Sims of Delano, CA. Melvin Sims of Ashens, TX; sister Ernestine Price of Blanchard, OK; a host of nieces, nephews, Other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph; 2 brothers J.B. and Tom; 2 sisters Opal and Nelma. Services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with interment following at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
