Frank Eugene Ware was born July 22, 1924 in Oklahoma City, the only child of Charles Joseph Ware and Velma Lucille Mitchell. Frank grew up in the area around 19th and Meridian under the loving guidance of his grandmother, Florence Ford and great-grandmother, Sarah Stone. This is where he also met his future bride. Within a week of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Frank was inducted into the U. S. Navy on Dec.13, 1941. During World War II he served in the Pacific, finishing his military career at the end of the war in Washington and Oregon.

On June 22, 1945 he married Fay Louise Ross, in Long Beach, Wash. To this union were born two sons, Larry Eugene and Michael Wayne. Frank spent his early years in the oilfields of Oklahoma. In 1964, he went to work for Brown and Root Construction at the Horseshoe Electric Plant site at Harrah. He stayed with Brown and Root for 25 years moving to East Texas, Louisiana, and finally to Cleburne, Texas where he retired in 1989. He was a member of the Bethany Masonic Lodge.

Frank passed from this life June 24, 2006 in Cleburne, Texas. Frank was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed reading, bowling, building radio-controlled airplanes and “picking” at anyone he was close to. He appeared to be a grouchy old man, but was a Teddy Bear at heart. Frank will be sorely missed by all those who knew him. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Faye Ware of Cleburne, Texas; two sons, Larry Ware and wife, Diana of Yukon, Michael (Mike) Ware and wife, Sharon of Cleburne, Texas; six grandchildren, Dwayne Newbrey of Midwest City, Thomas (Tom) Newbrey and wife, Lori of Yukon, Bill Clawson and wife, Kayla of Pleasant Hill, La., Kristina Boone and husband, Kenny of Piedmont, Paula Sinde of Cleburne, Texas and Tobie Inman of Jacksonville, Ark.; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua Newbrey of Minot, N.D., Zachary Newbrey of Yukon, Rebekah Boone of Piedmont, Brandon Sinde of Cleburne, Texas, Colton and Tristan Inman of Jacksonville, Ark., Tierra and Chelsey Newbrey of Midwest City, Anna Clawson, Pleasant Hill, La.; and one great-great-granddaughter, Caylin Newbrey of Piedmont.
