Ethel M. "Sue" Pendley, 95, Nicoma Park, died July 21, 1997 in Midwest City. She was born Dec. 6, 1901 in Jones, Ok to Robert L. & Myrtle Lewis McEwen.

Mrs. Pendley attended Jones Public Schools and was married to Miran Pendley on June 30, 1920. He died in 1968. She was a charter member of the Nicoma Park Christian Church, the Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge, and was retired from the Okla. Tax Commission. Mrs. Pendley is survived by 2 sons, Dwight K., Nicoma Park & Robert, Vista, Ca; a sister, Ruth McEwen Calaway, Bartlesville, Ok; 5 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren.

The family requests donations to the Memorial Fund, First Christian Church, PO Box 700, Nicoma Park, Ok 73066. Services 2 p.m. Thursday, Nicoma Park Christian Church, with entombment at the Jones IOOF Mausoleum.
