Mrs. Elizabeth Mescher, 79, years old, who died Wednesday night at her home, 414 North Western avenue will be buried in Kolb cemetery at Jones. Other arrangements will be announced by the Hunter funeral home following the arrival of relatives. Death was attributed to the heat.

Mrs. Mescher came to Oklahoma in 1881, settling near Blanchard with her first husband. who died in 1933.  She came in Oklahoma City in 1924 from Purcell. Mrs. Mescher was a member of the Church of Christ.
