James E. Gathright , 71, passed away August 5, 2010. He was born February 1, 1939 in Idabel, OK to Frank and Minnie Gathright. He graduated from Idabel Gray High School in 1957. He was in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964 and retired from the Air National Guard in December of 1998. He was a member of the Metro Camera Club.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; son, Ricky; daughter, Shauna and husband, Josh Burr; grandson, Carson Burr; 1 niece and 2 nephews that he raised: Dean Lundberg, Dawn Taylor, Wesley Rogers; 2 brothers: Dewey and wife Carol, Gordon and wife Lucille; 1 sister, Faye and husband Jodie Sanders; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Frank Jr. Thank you for your prayers during this time of need.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 9, 2010, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
