Charles Preston Warren passed away on August 18, 2003 and took the Masters hand and journeyed home. Preston was born May 23, 1932 in Wynnewood, OK to Otis and Fannie Warren. Otis and Preston founded Warren & Son Nursery in 1950 and during their time together they discovered the Oklahoma Redbud and the Warren's Red Holly.

He and his wife Donna (now reunited) were joined in marriage on Oct. 24, 1959 & from that union came 2 children: Lorrie Dickson and Mark Warren. Preston remarried Betty Shepard in 2001. Preston was active in Dickson Baptist Church as Sunday School Director and as a Deacon. He touched many lives thru church activities and the Nursery Newsletter.

Preston is survived by his wife, Betty of the home; daughter Lorrie & husband, Jack Dickson and son Mark Warren; granddaughter, Natalie Dickson; 3 stepdaughters & 2 step-granddaughters: Brianna & Stephanie; 2 step-grandsons: Mike & Chris. Services will be held at Dickson Baptist Church on Thursday, August 21, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Dickson Baptist Church. Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home.
