Wagnon, Charlie E., 77, Choctaw , died Sunday, Dec. 14, 1997, in Okla. City. He was born Nov. 26, 1920 in Enterprise, OK.

Charlie married Virginia Sanderson Dec. 23, 1939 in Enterprise. The family moved to Choctaw in 1959. Mr. Wagnon served in WW II and retired from FAA in 1979 with 29 years combined service with the OKC FAA and the Naval Ammunition Depot in McAlester. He was a 32nd Degree Mason at Guthrie and a Blue Lodge Mason of Quinton. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Choctaw .

His death follows a lengthy illness thru which he was attended by his wife, Virginia, his granddaughter, Tammy Jamison and Harrah Home Health Care. A Special Family Thanks is given to St. Anthony Hospital medical and nursing staff for their attentive care.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Eldon Wagnon . Survivors include his wife, Virginia; 4 sons and their wives, Bill, Ronnie (Joan) and Larry (Clara) Wagnon all of Choctaw and Roger (Kathyn) Wagnon , Okla. City; his daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Richard Henson, Edmond; 2 sisters, Freeda Schuetz and Mary Arnold, Okla. City; a brother, George Wagnon , Quinton; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services 10 a.m. Wednesday, Asa Smith Funeral Chapel, Harrah with burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw .
