Delbert Don Ramsey , 80, passed away on March 11, 2009. Don was born October 11, 1928 in Oklahoma City, OK to William Delbert and Lovina Ada Mae (Pullin) Ramsey. In 1969, and after 24 years of faithful service, Don retired as MSgt. from the U.S. Air Force. After his military career, Don went on to work at the OU Health Sciences Center as a Bio Med Technician, he later retired in 1987. 

Don was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and he enjoyed watching any activities in which his grandchildren were involved. He was also a member of Dickson Baptist Church since 1971.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 42 years, Lola; sisters, Amojean, Joy and Marjorie. Survivors include his three sons, Duane Ramsey and wife Susan, Del Ramsey and wife Wendi, Bill Ramsey and wife Sarah; grandchildren, Josh (Kristy), Ben (Meredith), Matt, Jessica, Alyssa, Easton, Rebecca, Tyler; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Mason, Ellie Kate, Addie, Peyton; sisters, Billie Ramsey and Jeanetta Vaughn; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Full military honors will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
