2101 Henney Road, Choctaw, Oklahoma, Jesse Lee Pool, Jr. was born on this site February 25, 1925 to Edith Gharst and Jess Lee Pool, Sr. and has lived there the major part of his life. This thirty acre tract of land is part of the original homestead of the Bias family - great, great maternal grandparents of Jesse Lee. Delilah Rohr and Jonathan Bias with their two sons, Isaac and Jacob, claimed 160 acres of land between what is now Henney and Hiawasse Roads in the "Run of 1889". No one has ever lived on the thirty acres identified as 2101 N Henney Road except descendants of the Bias family. It was known for years as "The Ed Gharst Place" now known as "The Pool Place" since Edith and her family became its owners in 1955.

Edith married Jesse Lee Pool. Their children were Pearl (Mrs. Hugh Gilbert) who died in April 1969 and Jesse Lee, Jr.

Edith died October 30, 1972, he husband preceded her in death April 13, 1972.

Twenty-three graves of the Bias-Ghast-Pool families can be identified in the Choctaw (Elmwood) Cemetery.
