Peters, Robert E . " Bob ", 61, Choctaw, passed away Thurs. Nov. 26, 1998. He was born May 5, 1937 to William C. and Ruby (Wood) Peters in Shawnee, OK. Bob grew up in Pauls Valley where he participated in high school sports, played in the band and was active in scouting, reaching the rank of Eagle Scout. His scouting skills also enabled him to attend the National Scouting Jamboree in Valley Forge, PA. Bob was graduated from the Univ. of Okla. with a masters degree in engineering.

Bob moved to Choctawf theAftery [sic] Peters of of OKC; son, Kevin of Houston, TX; 2 stepsons, Bruce Arnett of Fayetteville, AR and Steve Schoemann of Moore & their spouses; sister, Betty Knox of OKC; 2 nephews, Mike & Cory Knox of OKC; 8 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives & friends.

Graveside services will be at 11 am on Tues., Dec. 1, at Elmwood Cemetery.
