Mary Jeanette ‘Janet’ (Fairchild) Patterson

Mary Jeanette “Janet” (Fairchild) Patterson died Nov. 1, 2007. She was born May 8, 1933, in Shubuta, Miss., to WG Fairchild and Linnie Fairchild. After graduation from high school in Chunky, Miss., she married James Calvin Patterson Sept. 25, 1954. Twenty-one years and three children later, there was a family business started in Odessa, Texas, where she was manager of Aqua Pool and Patio until 1989 when the business was sold and she and James retired to Wellston. After his passing she made her home in Midwest City nearer to her brothers and sisters. She became an active member of Our Lord’s Bible Church. She is survived by three children, Robert E. (Bob) Patterson, Beverly A. (Patterson) Lair and Cynthia Denice Patterson; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Sunday to greet family and friends. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Monday at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel.

Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
