Lawrence Neal, 83, of Choctaw, died Thursday, Nov 16, 1989, born Nov 2, 1907 in Portsmouth, OH. He was retired from OG&E after 43 years of service. He was a member of the Trail Blazers, Pioneers, and as member of the Fist Baptist Church of Choctaw.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie, of the home; sons, Edward and his wife, Velma Neal of Choctaw and Bud Jeffers of Choctaw; daughter and son-in-law Yvonne and Bob Heath of Choctaw, brother Homer Neal of Ohio, 2 sisters, Lear Moon of Ohio and Thelma Dawson of PA; 15 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild, and a host of relatives and friends.

Services will be pm Monday, Nov 20, 1989 at the First Baptist Church of Choctaw, 2700 N Main, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
