Ruth Marie (Brown) Autry McCracken was born May 22, 1929, to Olin H. Brown and Genendal Etchison Brown in Prague Oklahoma. She went to be with her Lord on June 8, 2003. Ruth married Johnny Kenneth Autry in 1946, had four children and settled in Del City, OK in 1953. They divorced in 1974. She married Gerald E. McCracken in 1975 and resided in Midwest City, OK until her death.

 Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Jean Brown, Carol Sue Dean and Alma Sullivan; and sister inlaw Evie Brown. 

She is survived by her husband Gerald (Blanchard); sisters Eva Best and Norm (Tucson), and Anna Coulter and Chuck (Choctaw); brothers Herrell Brown (Pacifica, CA), Raymon Brown and Wanda (Del City), Donald Brown and Penny (Ft. Worth, TX), Carl Brown and Linda (Choctaw) and Ronald Brown and Judy (Piedmont). Ruth is also survived by daughters Linda Jeffrey and Cris (Del City) and Patricia Loisel and Jack (Midwest City); sons Kenneth Autry and Barbara (Snow, OK) and John Autry and Ann (Blanchard); stepson John S. McCracken and Blanca (Blanchard); grandchildren Denise Courts, Kenneth Hudson, Connie Mignerey, Dana Rainosek, Rob O'Hara, Linda O'Hara, David Autry, Stephen Autry, Tracy Sorrels, Tiffany Scott, Amber Autry, James (Scooter) Head, Lois Reagan, LaVonne Young, Johnna McCracken, and John C. McCracken; and by 18 great-grandchildren. Ruth was a loving, devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a kind, caring person, whose greatest happiness came from helping and taking care of those she loved, and will be greatly missed. She left a legacy of wonderful memories and unending love, represented by the many quilts she made for her family. We will treasure her and them forever. Special thanks to the senior ladies of Howard Memorial Baptist Church for their friendship in her later years; to the devoted staff of Manor Care Health Services for their tender and loving care; and to Hospice Quality Care for their support and kindness to Ruth and her family. 

Visitation will be Tuesday at Paylor Funeral Home (Midwest City). Services are at Howard Memorial Baptist Church, 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 11th, 2003, with burial at Arlington Cemetery (Midwest City). Paylor Funeral Home 412 N. Air Depot 732-4511

McCracken, Gerald E., 88, passed away April 8, 2007. He has lived in the Del City area all of his life. He was a retired Baptist minister and also worked with the Mid-Del School System. He enjoyed singing, fishing and poetry. 

He is survived by son, John and wife, Blanca; 4 grandchildren, Lois Reagan, Lvonne Young, Johnna Guerrero, John C. McCracken; and 7 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Mae, his wife, Ruth Marie, his parents, 3 brothers, and 5 sisters. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Arlington Memory Gardens.
