Albert Ray Kidd Sr.

Funeral for Albert Ray Kidd Sr. 63, of 3015 N. Robinson is to be Saturday 2 pm at Zion Lutheran Church. The longtime Oklahoma City resident died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Hospital. He has suffered cancer since October. A native of Illinois, Kidd came to Oklahoma in 1907 and moved from El Reno to Oklahoma City 40 years ago. A Veteran of WWI he was a contract bricklayer. In August he was awarded a 50 year card by the bricklayers union.

Survivors are his wife Margaret of the home, a son Albert Ray Jr. 3015 N. Robinson, a daughter Mrs. Marjorie Strano, Fort Worth, TX. Also his stepmother Mrs. Frank T. Kidd 529 SW 28, 2 stepbrothers and 3 stepsisters. The family prefers that friends desiring, make memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society rather than sending flowers.

Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens under direction of Hahn-Cook Funeral Home.

Mrs. Margaret Kidd

Services for Mrs. Margaret Kidd, 68, former city resident who died in Galveston, TX will be at 10:30 am Tuesday in Zion Lutheran Church with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Hahn-Cook Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Kidd was born in South Dakota and had lived in Oklahoma City 35 years before moving to Galveston in 1962. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son Albert R. Jr. 3109 S. Madole, a daughter Mrs. Marjorie Strano, Galveston, TX, 4 sisters Mrs. Eric Ruby, Tulsa, Mrs. Albert O'Dell, Watong, Mrs. Paul Egermier, Nowata and Mrs. Nick Fakas 2501 NW 13, and a brother Ted Kluber, North Carolina.
