Lewis Madison Jobe was 77 when he went to be with his Father & Savior on July 19, 2006. Lewis was born to Jade and Laura Jobe on June 11, 1929, in Ringling, OK.

He met Henrietta Queen while stationed at Elgin AFB and married her on December 2, 1949, in Waynesboro, MS.

Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Lewis is survived by his 2 sons: Danny Jobe of OKC, & Bruce & JoDawn Jobe of Del City; grandchildren: Wendy & Carl Thompson , Lori Jobe, Jennifer & Preston Davis, John & Joseph Stansberry; great-grandchildren: October, Tylar, Aubrey, & Gavin Jobe, Brody Davis; brothers: Preston Jobe of Burneyville, OK, & Lawrence Jobe of Del City; and many nieces and nephews. Lewis was an Air Force Tech. Sergeant until tuberculosis ended his career in 1958. Afterwards, Lewis became a television repairman in the early 60's until he started at Tinker AFB where he stayed until his retirement in 1987. Lewis received numerous honors and accolades while serving as a civil servant. He was truly a great asset to this world and will be sorely missed.

Funeral services will be held at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2006, with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK.
