HERNDON Homer Hall, of OKC, born Aug. 4, 1894, died May 2, 1985. Retired oilfield worker, born in Greenville TX. Came to OKC in 1906, member of Capitol Hill Assembly of God. 

Preceded in death by wife, Celestia in 1981. Survived by 2 sisters, Ruby Proctor of Mustang and Dimple Willis of Westville OK; several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside service 10am, Saturday, May 4, Sunny Lane Cemetery,[S7-R15-13] directed by Capitol Hill Funeral Home.

Virgie Herndon Dies at Age 73; Rites Thursday

Services for Mrs. Virgie Mae Herndon, 73, of 1516 Westwood, who died Tuesday, will be at 2 pm Thursday in Capitol Hill Church of God. 

Burial will be in Sunny Lane Cemetery under direction of Hunter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Herndon was born in Arkansas and went to Wewoka as a child. She came here in 1917.

Surviving are her husband, Homer, of the home; one son Alton Flynn, southwest of city; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Stivers, 1417 SW Binkley and Mrs. Irene Denton, southwest of city; four brothers, Will Stephens, Wewoka; Arch, Colorado Springs, Colo; Homer, Portland, Ore. an Roy, 1245 SW 35, and two sisters, Lillie Capehart, Los Angeles, and Dovie Hall, Fort Cobb.
