Hale, Albert "Al", 73, of Choctaw passed away Thursday, March 6, 1997. Al was born March 13, 1923 to Rollie & Doris (Goff) Hale in Arkansas. He moved to Nicoma Park/Choctaw area in 1958. Al had owned the Choctaw Restaurant numerous times where he enjoyed wonderful memories with wonderful friends. He was a shriner with The India Temple.

Al is survived by his 3 sons; Ron & wife Sharon of Choctaw; Steve & wife Vickie of Salt Lake City, UT; & Mitch & wife Michelle of Broken Arrow; his daughter, Patti Carey of Broken Arrow; his 3 brothers; Sherman Hale of Harrah; Bill Hale of San Mateo, CA; & Gene Hale of Irving, TX; his grandchildren, Mike & Matt Hale of OKC; Tonya Couch of Broken Arrow; Tina DeLuca of Tulsa; Nick & Michael Graziano of Broken Arrow; Micah & Lucas Hale of Salt Lake City, UT; & Michael Hale of Ada; 7 great grandchildren; and his special friend Blynn Spearman, who is like a member of the family. Al's home away from home was at Honda Auto Parts.

The Brewers treated him like a member of the family, and were a special part of his life. Services will be Monday; March 10, 1997 at 1:00 PM at Choctaw 1st Baptist Church with interment at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw. Al's down home friendliness, caring & sense of humor made him well known & respected by all who crossed his path....except one.
