Geneva Foster, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 4, 2006. She was born January 17, 1921 in Green Forest, AR to Elzie G. and Della Gay (Shrum) Wise. She was married on May 27, 1940 to Rev. Carl A. Foster. Geneva was a pastor's wife, Sunday school teacher, and beautician. She was active in the Church choir and vacation bible school for many years.

She is preceded in death by parents; husband; three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her children, Carlene, Ed, Marcia and husband Mark; sisters, Florene, Opal, Lola; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Geneva was a sacrificing mother and wife that put her family before her own needs. For 11 months she cared for her husband who had Leukemia. After his passing in July of 2006, we truly believe she died of a broken heart. Geneva will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 2PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at Southern Hills Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
